Jazz Band Festival Change and Reminder

Jazz Band performs this Wednesday at the Eastshore Region Jazz Festival held at Issaquah High School. We will be performing at 8:50am, not 9:30 as originally planned. 5 students still need to turn in their permission slips.

All Jazz Band members must be at Maywood by 7am. The bus leaves the parking lot at 7:10. If you miss the bus you will need to get a ride to IHS.

Jazz Festival Chaperones needed

The second annual Eastshore Region Jazz Festival is on February 8th in the brand new Issaquah High School auditorium. This will be the first year that Maywood is participating as we were on the PLU field trip last year. This is an all-school-day event and we need 3 chaperones. We will be meeting at Maywood at 7:10am. The festival ends at noon. We will be enjoying lunch at Red Robin in Issaquah and be back to Maywood in time for the afternoon buses. Jazz Band starts Wednesday!

Our first jazz band rehearsal will be this Wednesday, Oct. 5th after school. All 7th and 8th grade students who have played for at least one year are welcome including saxophone, trombone, trumpet, percussion, guitar, bass and piano. Check with Ms. Sunmark if you play an instrument other than these. Students may ride the activity bus home or be picked up. We'll be done at 4:00pm.
