Concert Clothing

Please see "What to wear at concerts" below for specifics on concert attire for your band. We will be going over it in class as well.
Wind Ensemble Guys (3rd period band)
We need to order our silver ties so they will be here by our first concert on November 29th. We would like the ties to all look alike so please purchase through the school order. They are only $5.00. Such a deal! Please bring $5 by this Friday. If you are writing a check make it out to MMS. Put your payment in an envelope with your name on it and give it to the bookkeeper by Friday. Thanks!

Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band Ladies: (3rd, 5th and 6th period band)
A Maywood band parent found a fantastic place on the internet for finding concert clothes for 7th and 8th grade girls.  The link is:  Concert Black: Black Clothing for the Performing Musician Here is what she told me. “They have full length skirts, palazzo pants, and long-sleeve and 3/4 length sleeve shirts in children's sizes up to 12 and adult sizes from 00 to plus and tall.  The prices are reasonable, the shipping is reasonable, and it was the only concert clothes website I found that did not charge a restocking fee if an item needed to be returned.
I called the customer service number on Saturday and the woman talked me through how to measure my daughter and what size to order.  She gave me several sizing, style, and fabric suggestions.  I placed an online order on Saturday.  It was shipped on Monday and we received it on Wednesday.  The company is in Salt Lake City.  The skirt and shirt her perfectly and she loves them.  The items appear to be good quality fabric and stitching.   I will definitely be using the company for future orders and would recommend it to others.  Please pass on the info to any fashion-frustrated parents.  Thanks.
