Wind Ensemble performed at the Eastshore Region Band Festival yesterday at Chief Kanim Middle School. 10 area schools participated in the festival. Each band had a 20 minute window for performance followed by a clinic from one of our adjudicators. Our students performed their two pieces beautifully and represented Maywood well.We received written and verbal comments from the adjudicators as well as ratings. Ratings range from good to outstanding to superior. Wind Ensemble received superior ratings from all three adjudicators. Congratulations to all!
I was so impressed with the performance. I kept telling the kids how great they sounded. They earned that rating, and also their awards for best dressed and most goofballs...
