Wind Ensemble members traveled to PLU on Friday for a day with Dr. Ed Powell and his music students. Maywood students broke into instrument sections in the morning to work with college students and graduate students. After lunch at the food court students toured the campus to get a taste of college life. Dr. Powell worked with the entire ensemble in awe inspiring Lagerquist Hall for two hours in the afternoon. We finished the day with pizza at Farrelli's. Thanks to our chaperones and to all the Maywood Wind Ensemble students for making the day great!
