6th grade - page 2 - 5 in the book. Please read through page 2 and 3 with your parents. These pages help you get started with good habits. Page 4 and 5 focus on our first 5 notes. Have fun!

7th grade Symphonic Band - In Class playing test on Monday on # 25 and #27 in book two. Please be prepared. Watch out for slurs, staccatos, tenutos, key signatures, rhythm, breath marks and dynamics.

8th grade Wind Ensemble - Find the MP3 recording of Abracadabra at www.manhattanbeachmusic.com and listen to it. It's a great recording. Work on your part for Abracadabra.
