December 4^th Band Concert at Liberty Performing Art Center

Concert attendance is mandatory and a significant portion of your grade.

Performing Groups: Concert Band (6^th grade), Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble. Jazz band is not performing at this event.

Please see band handbook for approved concert clothing options. Please dress according to this dress code. If you are inappropriately dressed you will be provided an outfit from our box of extra clothing.

5:30     6^th grade Woodwinds and Percussion students gather in Liberty Band Room

            6^th grade Brass students gather in Liberty Choir Room

5:45    Woodwinds and Percussion go to stage for performance. Brass goes to seats in audience        with instruments and music.

6:00     6^th Grade Concert begins

            Woodwinds walk off stage into audience and replace brass in their seats. Brass goes to stage.

             Percussion and Bassoon will perform with both groups.

6:30     6^th Grade Concert ends and all 6^th grade students and families leave campus (unless you     have an older brother or sister performing with the 7^th and 8^th grade groups)

6:45     7^th and 8^th grade families arrive

Wind Ensemble gathers in Black Box theatre puts instruments together and goes to seats in auditorium with instruments and music.

Wind Symphony gathers in Choir Room puts instruments together and goes to seats in auditorium with instruments and music.

Symphonic Band gathers in the Liberty Band Room puts instruments together, goes to stage.

7:15        7^th/8^th Grade concert starts

Following each ensembles performance they leave the stage and exchange seats with the next ensemble.

8:30        7^th/8^th Grade concert ends

There is a basketball tournament at Liberty the same evening. Parking will be an issue. You may need to drop off your student first and then find parking.
