Wind Ensemble
8th Grade Wind Ensemble members are invited to perform with the Liberty Symphonic Band on the June 2nd Liberty Band concert. More information including the music will follow.

Wind Ensemble has had two very successful events. They performed at the Eastshore Region Large Group Festival on April 21st and received a superior rating. This past Wednesday they traveled to the University of Puget Sound and worked with Dr. Gerard Morris. Students had a tour of the campus, ate in the student union, had a rousing game of soccer and attended the University Pop's concert.

6th and 7th grade band members
6th and 7th grade band students are completing a playing test on the chromatic scale and a short etude. For 6th graders this test will be used as information for placement in next year's Wind Ensemble. For 7th graders this is a regular playing test.

All students renting Maywood instruments
Last day for instruments will be June 8th. All Maywood rentals must be returned by that date unless you plan to use the instrument over the summer and the following year. 6th and 7th graders, if you are keeping your Maywood instrument.you will need to pay for part or all of next year's rental fee and make sure your instrument is repaired with Matt Schneider over the summer if necessary. The repair fee will be added to the Maywood repair bill unless the repair is above and beyond your original rental fee.

8th graders you must return your Maywood rental and contact Mr. Tanner if you need to rent from the high school.

If you still owe part or all of your 2016 rental fee please pay by the 1st of June. Students who have not paid will be issued fine slips.
